Real Weddings- Mount Vernon Canyon Club, Golden Colorado : A Brunch Wedding

Nicholas and Natalie threw an unforgettable brunch disco wedding at the stunning Mount Vernon Canyon Club, and it was every bit as fun and fabulous as it sounds!

Their story began in Las Vegas, where they met during a business trip. From the moment Nicholas saw Natalie across the room, he couldn’t take his eyes off her. They exchanged contact information and began getting to know each other. Life soon brought them both to Colorado, where they took the next step and moved in together.

Getting Ready

After a few years of sharing adventures and attending events all across the state, Nicholas asked Natalie to marry him—and of course, she said yes! From there, they began planning the most vibrant and joyful celebration. With a brunch disco theme, the decor was a retro dream. Think vintage chairs, funky lounge setups, and a perfect mix of elegance and fun.

We started the day with Natalie, who was mid-glam, getting her bridal makeup done. We captured detail shots of her dress and shoes before moving on to getting-ready photos. One of our favorite moments was when her mom helped zip her into her dress—such a sweet and emotional scene.

First Look & Couple Session

Their first look took place on the beautiful grounds of Mount Vernon Canyon Club. After descending the stairs from the upper patio, Natalie made her way down a scenic concrete path lined with sleek black railings and views overlooking Lookout Mountain. Nicholas waited there, eyes closed, until he turned around and saw his bride for the first time. It was such a tender and magical moment.

Afterward, we explored the nature trails for their couple's portraits, surrounded by evergreens that made their outfits pop perfectly. The session was short, sweet, and full of joy—just the way we love it.

Ceremony

The ceremony site, a concrete patio framed with an elegant black steel railing, offered a breathtaking backdrop. The arch was simple but adorned with stunning florals that brought everything to life.

As soon as the ceremony ended, guests were treated to a grand entrance that flowed right into the couple’s first dance. Following dinner and heartfelt toasts, Nicholas and Natalie slipped away for a quick outfit change and came back ready to party and enjoy every moment of their disco-fueled reception.

It was the perfect blend of love, laughter, retro vibes, and celebration. Nicholas and Natalie’s day was as unique and joyful as their love story—and we feel lucky to have captured every bit of it.
