Here you can find my graduation portrait promotion. I hope that I got enough people to signup to bring the cost down. Anyway we got a sporting model for the promotion shot. The setup took about 1/2 hour including erecting the backdrop.
I found this lighting diagram image generator from QHphotography.com. Very easy to use and allow me to remember each setup that I made in a photoshoot. I tend to forget …”How I got that look ah?”.
Hit the next page how I ‘utilize’ Pringles cylinder and Gary Fong LS II for this shot.
I’ve read somewhere in Digital Camera magazine they used this method aka ‘poor man’s snoot’. Back in Malaysia I had a snoot with a grid made out of black straw to throw a concentrated light with smooth feathering edge. This pringles snoot had a rough edge and I got to be careful on its placement.
Somebody suggested me to paint it black, but I think it’s good enough for now.
A candid shot that I like to keep and the promo shot.
